HORNBY R2702X BR InterCity Executive HST DCC Fitted

Hornby's latest superbly detailed High Speed Train in the fabulous 'Swallow' Executive livery introduced in 1986.

The detailing is simply breathtaking, with opening cab doors, "exquisitely detailed cab" (Model Rail magazine), directional lighting, beautifully detailed underframe and bogies, fine handrails and superbly represented livery.

The loco is powered by Hornby's latest 5 pole skew-wound motor which provides drive to both sets of bogies with pick-up from all driving wheels: this is fully in line with Hornby's highly acclaimed, super smooth running class 60. The loco is DCC ready.
